Whisper & Subjugation

Hello everybody,

 

From a general slayer perspective, assuming standard gear, rapier, ovl, etc.. will a whisper be better than fury?

 

And is there any reason to use the robes of subjugation over virtus? i don't have subjugation at the moment, so i guess the better question would be: is it worth buying if i have already got virtus?

Whisper is 4 more str bonus than a fury, so, yes, it is better.

2 things I can think of for why Subjugation right now is better than Virtus:

1. Subjugation robes( not including the Ward of Subj) gives +8% Magic damage boost. I believe Virtus gives +0%.

2. Doesn't degrade.

That's exactly why Subjugation is far better for PvM and 1v1 or small team PvP. It lacks the massive health boost that Virtus has so if you were barraging in Soul Wars for example you should probably stick to Virtus. But that's an obscure use.
