What to do for playing?

Featured Replies

Well, not sure if this is the right question but here it goes:

I have to change the setup at home due to some.. issues. My question is.. should I play using Wifi (never done it before) or stay to ethernet cable?

I have never used a wifi connection for playing any game at all, so not really sure how dependable it is?

Problem is in order to keep using ethernet cable i need to use 40 meters of it now, and my wife might kill me if she sees it all over the house :P!

Greetings

Rule #14 - Don't argue with trolls, it means they win.

I use WiFi all the time (for a similar reason) and I have no problems with it.

Except when my old as dirt laptop decides to drop it of course, but no one else has ever had that problem so it's obviously in my comp and not the connection to the router.

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

I've been using wireless routers since the beginning of my Runescape career in 05'. They're dependable if you have a decent computer, as Kaida said, if you're computer is old as dirt like his then it will most likely drop the connection. Otherwise, you're good to go with it.

I have always had wifi and I have never had a problem with the connection unless I lose power
