Actually 80 might very well buy one.

A. Yes, go with wacom. I have heard of a few recent ones that are decent, but you know that wacom has staying power.

B. There is no lag unless your computer is slow.

C. Unless you need professional tools the wacome graphire is cheap, very usable, and comes with a good software package.

the cheapest one I can find..The bigger one are around ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã100 already.

np :) that link you gave is to the newer one. The one I gave is the graphire 3, but truthfully, they both work fine for most tasks.

There is a "tablet" of sorts that costs 1k plus. It is a tablet pc! Also, wacom sells a cintique..which is an lcd monitor that you can draw directly on. They are well over a grand.

looks like they changed the software package and it no longer includes ps elements.

And the graphire 3 there doesn't have painter...just ps elements and....pinnacle studio? That is odd. Why would it package a video app?

I have a wacom, it's HUGE. I think I got it for $300?

Oh, and you probably should know that the screen on the tablet is one huge grey rectangle that you touch with either the pen or the mouse. You dont get a mini version of the screen on your tab, which I thought would happen.

Thats a pic from the first day I had it. ;)

yeah thats THE EXACT same one i have and i love it. Its 334$ or something with tax and i bought it from a CDW store. Comes with bundled software (Photoshop Elements which is practically the same as other photoshops and i love it, Corel Painter which i dont like as much but its good software, and a few other Adobe softeware and some other perks.)

Great tablet, I'd reccomend buying it.
