I whipped this up in about 15 minutes with flash today. And to compare, I based it off of the vague memory of sig I had of a sig I made way back in April 2007. Then I scrounged around and found it. :o! What do you guys think? ;p

It's gonna take me a while and I can't actually guarentee that I'll finish it... #-o I have to draw a bunch of cartoons for a website (that I was suppose to have done a week ago) and I have a bunch of projects coming up.

Here is my sketch... is this pretty much the concept? I don't know what the whole fire cape part is. I like your request though :) I haven't made a pixel signature in a while, but this tutorial inspired me and I wanted to try the style out. :oops:

The direction of the lightsource looks wrong. The back leg has the light coming from the left while the rest of the body has light coming from the viewer. The back leg is also an entirely lighter shade then the rest, and I think that's what really sets it off... the butt looks like it's popping out or ahead of the rest of it.

Here is my wip, What do you think so far? I have the background sketched out a bit and was planning for all of that to be on fire... also, I don't really know what the fire emote is, but something with fire in your palms? Heh yeah brushes gave me some trouble too! I'm not that great, but I'll try to tell you how to do it. You need to find the photoshop brush file. (I have a program files folder.) Hopefully you have some version of photoshop, otherwise I can't really help you... So umm go into Start> My Computer> Local Disk :C> Program Files> Adobe> Photoshop (7.0, CS, CS3, ect) > Presets> Brushes Keep that folder open. When you download the brush file, it should put the file icon thing up for the brush set. Drag that icon into the brush folder, (or copy paste it, whatever) and whazam! it's there. Now, go into photoshop and open up the brush menu. Thing. The brushes should then go into the menu... I hope this helped, if you get stuck just ask and I'll try to elaborate further. And remember that the brush files must be compatible with the photoshop you have! :D

^ That's the old logo, but the guy who made it messed up a bit... it's suppose to be NB then SP, not SP then NB. Yeah... So I need a logo for a video kinda thing my friend and I are doing. It can be any shape, but perferibaly circular or an octagon or something that can have a transparent background. The colors need to be orange and green, and it needs to have "Quality Videos" on it somewhere. These are the kind of colors I'd like to see in it, you don't have to use these exact ones but it'd be nice if it was the along the lines of it. Thank you all very much! Yeah, the line tool is perfectly fine, especially when doing sword and daggers! But using one line to connect, say, the shoulder and the wrist is bad. The line tool is actually very handy because it makes straight lines! :D

I'm sorry Flame, but not everyone is born with Mrxman's godly drawing talent. Even Misterxman didn't start off drawing the sig you posted. Perhaps you remember ? Because guess what, Mrxman made that. Yeah, it's still better than runechaos' but it goes to show you that even if it looks bad it doesn't mean effort wasn't put into it! Remember Napoleon Dynamite? He drew that girl a picture and put a lot of effort into it apparently... does that make the drawing any better? No, it still freaked her out.... err... :-s (please don't kill me misterxman) XD Anyway, runechaos, here is some advice for you: 1) Don't use the circle tool or line tool. People hate that because we are not made out of circles and lines. People are organic shapes! 2) Try getting some books. I liked the 'How to Draw Manga' series, just because I always dreamed of drawing manga stuffs. I don't really like that style anymore, but it really helped me go from 'ARRGH MY EYES!!' to 'Oooh that's decant.' I bought some off of Amazon, and even if you don't plan on doing manga/anime type of work they really help you get the basics of drawing down. They're easier (or at least for me) than than the real human anatomy books that show you every tiny muscle in the body. They helped me out with stuff like proportions, faces, hair.. drawing! Here are two I reccomend, you can search Amazon.com for other ones, or you can always go to a library and check them out! :D http://www.amazon.com/How-Draw-Manga-Bo ... 766112385/ http://www.amazon.com/More-How-Draw-Man ... 766114825/ 3) Get a sketchbook. I have a 50 page 11" x 17" sketchpad that I have been using since December. It only cost $3 or $4- and I still have 20 pages left! I got it at a craft store (like Joann's or Michaels) and I really reccomend you get one... they're fun to just doodle in, plus it keeps all your drawings in one place instead of a ton of pieces of paper around the house. You can also date the pages and stuff, and I like flipping back a few pages to see what I did 3 months ago and how I've improved. :) 4) I also reccomend mechanical pencils. Those things are godly. :D 5) Don't post your stuff on tip.it. Serisouly. People here are jerks. When I was younger I posted some manga stuff I drew on either here (or runevillage) and they flamed the hell out of me. and I was depressed and I never wanted to draw again and it sucked! But I kept sketching and drawing anyway and now I'm not flamed as much when I make a sig. You're overreacting. and I'm taking this seriously. If he's wasting your time, then why even bother looking? If your time is SOOOO precious to you, then don't look at it. Because if you stop and stare and make a reply your wasting your own time. He's not telling YOU to spend time writing a reply, and he's not telling YOU to flame his thread. So if YOUR time is so precious to you than you don't have to waste YOUR time in this thread! Hmm, I like it. Seems very abstract! The only problem I have with it is the bit of green in the corner. It seems out of place.

I like the texture and style of it, very nice. But it's skin tight which to me seems a little wierd for chainmail. :cry: It's so pretty.... so much detail :cry: But yeh you're doing a great job and I'm so excited to see how it turns out that I could pee myself in anticipitation. :-s (Well maybe not THAT excited o_O) :D

Looks great (I liked the style of blonde hair better though, it added to the cartooness :D) What bugs me is the leg area, the legs don't connect at one point (which you probably know XD) [nub drawing] [/nub drawing] But as someone else said, the bottom part on her bikini looks too pointy and the bottom should be wider... :-$
