July 5, 200719 yr Ok, sorry that no one else has told you this before, but there is a reason why we aren't aloud to post our 'First' pixels, because they are often Crap, and to be blunt, THOSE are, first tries aren't they? Those aren't pixel sigs, those are 'Select paintbrush, select color, and GOGOGO!' sigs, i mean come on, atleast put some effort into it. you used pixels before on another site huh? that's Bull right there. Paintbrush with no effort: Pixel with effort: See the difference? Tbh i think your just wasting our time and cant take pixeling seriously[/img]

Show him some direction post some links and maybe give him something to base future art off of instead of flaming As for the artist... yeah put more effort into your work... you've got to hammer out some basic anatomy before you go and fill in the colors... Don't save as a jpeg... the basics... I deleted all my bookmarks of pixeling tutorials so i can't help you... but maybe some of these other people will New sigzor^^

July 6, 200719 yr Mmmkay, ratings are obviously bad, anyway I think you should think about actually looking at the pictures, do you see where the mistakes could be, if so then fix them up... Look at the curving, the fact that the legs have different lengths, adding things to the background maybe and pretty much making everything look more smooth... I've got to say if you want to pixel, you should put more patience into it, try doing one for an hour atleast and making everything, the shape first off look good, if your not sure how to improve the shape then look at a bunch of other peoples works first, and understand how the structure of things, as well as special added details is added. I probably wouldn't recommend shading yet, but it will help in the near future once your get the actual shape of your objects corrected. Anyways you can find guides at the top of the page, in the announcement The Gallery Rules, FAQ and Resources Check it out, and hope you get better :D PS: Enough with the flames guys, just give him the advice, and hopefully he'll spend more time improving 99 / 99 Mining 89 / 99 Smithing 87 / 90 Strength SKILL TOTAL: 1836 / 2000
July 6, 200719 yr ANYWAY.... Try and make the outlines thinner then that. Try and buff up that dharoks guy because he is looking puny. The backgrounds seem plain, try adding some activity into them. One important thing to focus on is shading. Using one shade of color makes it look cartoon-like. Use at least 5 colours for each shade of colour. Hope this helps.

You already made a thread in the Art Bazaar, and there your artwork got pretty much flamed, so it maybe isn't such a great idea to post your work here again... And, Happysniff, a lot of people already gave him advice on the other thread, but it seems that he totally ignored that. So, runechaos, we are really not insulting you, we are trying to help you.
