March 30, 201313 yr Powermining iron with urns in the hobgoblin mine is the fastest, but if you don't want to mine in the wild then either Rimmington or the Dwarven mine near the resource dungeon is your best bet. March 30, 201313 yr Mine 1 drop 1 is pretty much obsolete now that the action bar exists. The hobgoblin mine in the wilderness is the absolute best. Bring up to 24 Urns, a wooden shield, and some blue d'hide (aggressive goblins will attack you, possibility of need rejuvinate). You can reach between 45K and 50K/hr drop mining iron there using the action bar to drop if you have near-perfect focus. Slightly less exp per hour for the first little bit, until the Hobs stop being aggressive. Next to no PKers will come by, if they do, attack a goblin then go back to mining (make sure you are single way wildy) and they cannot attack you, and will get bored after a few minutes and leave.
