Rinc3Wind Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 So I only have 5% left till I enter the Pincers :) My main goal once in the Pincers is to finish collecting the scrolls for the Death Lotus and Seasinger sets and then collect the goods to make them all (Starting with Tetsu). I believe I'm ready because I have all the jade upgrades for my ship, all 10k captains, 5C5M6SF, 4JoD, 2 Jade Merch. and 3 Sea witches. All them are either level 7-9. So once I get into the Pincer, what should I focus on doing first? And what should I plan on doing as well? I got nearly 15k jade, 70k chimes and small amounts of the other resources on me currently as well. Also, are any of the totem upgrades worth it? TDC Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 The first thing you should prioritise is the rudder upgrade. Not too sure on the rest, as I then got all of my crew then upgraded the ship. Pretty sure there was a faster way of doing it :) The optimal setup for crew looks to be; 5 of each basic unit, 3 Jod, 3 merchants 4 and oxhead and horseface. Glacors Drops - 33 shards. Armadyl Drops - 1 Chestplate. 1 Hilt. 2 gloves . 2 Skirts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You probably won't have enough laquer or chi to make the relevant armours, so it's recommended to leave scrolls until after you (almost) have the resources. You should go for some crew and the rudder upgrade first, ignore building upgrades for now, totems are nice but hardly useful, especially since you're gathering steel at first. As TDC said, 5 of each basic, 3 JoD, 3 merchant, 4 oxhead is the best all-round crew. Depending on ones focus (scrolls/trade goods) another merchant or no merchants is best, but you want both.
