As the title says, I'm back from a hiatus of ~2 years.

a few questions about the way of things.

 

1. Apparently during my hiatus, I was hacked, so I have about 2m cash and maybe another 4m in equips. What can I do (quickly, hopefully) with the skills I have to get the cash I need (again, quickly) to get any high tier equipment? The best I have is t75 (weapons) and t70 (armour) across the board.

 

2a. I've been slaying to pass the confusion lately, and I've doing it with mage. I understand that weaknesses play a fairly decent part in combat now, so should I switch styles to match weaknesses, or can I just grind through tasks with magic on my way to 90?

 

2b. And if so, does any particular spell merit using, or should I just use the highest level spell available to me?

 

3a. I'm still 1.5m xp away from any chaotic item, so should I grind the rest of that out, or will t75 suffice in the meantime? I sort of don't want to go around using inferior weapons just because I'm lazy.

 

3b. And if I should grind dg, is there any kind soul who will smith me a promethium maul/2h? :D

 

 

 

I've worked up a bit of understanding around EOC, but there are still finer points I'm sure I've missed.

I posted a topic like this awhile ago, and the general consensus was to get t8 before slaying

Is t8 magic a chaotic wand or is there something else? Because I'd much rather use my first 200k points on a rapier.

Chaotic Claws or Chaotic Maul (both cost 200k, Claws cost an additional set of Dragon Claws, which costs barely a fraction of its former cost) are both vastly superior to Chaotic Rapier, since you need both the MH and off hand rapiers to make full use of it.

 

If you have EE, or access to one, I would get a Main hand claw now, costs only 100k tokens, since you are working towards the level/token for it, you will have access to chaotic weapon much faster than you would either a Maul or Rapiers. Bear in mind that dual chaotic weapons have a higher repair cost than Maul, but as long as EE's stat remain, Chaotic with EE will be much better than Maul.

 

The t8 magic weapon is Chaotic staff, which remains best in slot for a 2h staff and joint best in slot for the best magic weapon.

I do have the EE, which make the EEE the final upgrade unless I'm mistaken. Is there any huge combat difference between the two?

 

Also, I still need question 1 answered. It seems all my old haunts are no longer profitable.

EEE has no stat boost over EE (it only boosts its healing, which is nearly non-existent outside of momentum slaying), therefore EE is good enough, for now.

 

With regards to money making, I'd probably say GWD bossing with T8 weapons. Most of the money income are heavily concentrated in QBD, Nex or KK, which are generally done only in t80 gear or better (probably only done in Drygores, t9 melee weapons).

 

If you can do hard morytania tasks, Barrows are still okish if you don't feel like bossing, about 1m an hour if do them fast (note this is assuming 5 minutes between chests).

I've never had more than 15m in my career. Something tells me nearly 6x that amount is closer to dreaming

invest into the kingdom management at the Fremmy isles, farm herbs, and if you can get the pennance aura ASAP, it'll let you camp bosses a lot longer. work on getting soulsplit if you can, and that will let you solo zammy/sara/bandos gwd and make more money
