Tzhaar magic and obsidian staff

Featured Replies

I was thinking about this the other day when woodcutting. Why is it that the obsidian staff does not have any new magic with it? The tzhaar mages mage with different spells.

My suggestion is to add the two spells that the Tzhaar mage uses to the obsidian staff, or just add it to the mage list and have the staff be required to use. The thing with these spells is make them use lava runes to perform the spells. The staff is almost the same as a dragon mace, so the melee isn't bad, the mage could be better if they had some benefit for using, ie. the spells.

just my two cents.

i agree except there shouldn't be only lava runes, y not fire and earth?
it would encourage the use of combo runes thats why

i think there is already a staff in the tzarr weapon shop....although it might be a battle stave instead.....confused..... :?: :?: :?:

He's talking about that one, and how its almost never used because its pretty pointless. He wants to update that staff with two or so exclusive spells that the tzarr(sp?) monsters use that would actually bring it into play.
