Slayer; Range&Mage training

So I am thinking of training slayer, but does it even give decent money at such a low level?

 

I am also only training magic & range. Range I haven't even started yet, and I am only level 20 magic. Is there anything anyone could suggest as far as training those 3 skills? I have about 7m in cash & items.

Slayer on overall doesn't make much at all if it makes any. However you will do good on starting slayer now anyways. It's a good time as any ;D.

Tbf slayer does make reasonable profit per task from about 70 onwards. It's by no means gonna make ya super rich, but it does make money.

 

As for tips

1) Use the best slayer master you can

2) Do not use only range & mage, if something has a melee weakness meleeing will get ya through it faster which will mean better slayer xp and cmb xp in the long run.

You can make slayer quite profitable, but that is mostly from tasks like aviansies, GWD bosses, Dagannoth Kings, KK, ganodermic creatures and such. Nothing you can do very well at levels below 70, 80+ all preferred, 90+ attack for KK.

Hmm, only thing is that i dont want to train attack, strength or defence.

I'm only using range & mage, I am not training att, str or defence, because I already have a main account; it's just not P2P right now.

I don't really see the point of pures in EoC, all limits no benefits. Slayer doesn't make much of a profit anymore unless you go out of your way to make it profit (doing QBD, KK, GWD etc. for their respective tasks). Without defense you wont be able to do any of those, so expect very little profit or more likely losses.

This so many times over.

Pures sucked in all but a few specific circumstances pre-eoc, post-eoc they just suck all together.

And even if you MUST make a pure for w/e reason you NEED defence. Without defence you are basically gonna be 1 hit but pretty much anything and everything that's remotely decent for slayer.
