constrictor
As the summer begins, I have decided to become (ultimately) a vegetarian - for dietary reasons, specifically. My question for you guys is are you a vegetarian and if so, what have you eaten/used that has worked, etc.? I've heard that as a vegetarian you have to be making sure you are receiving enough of the correct types of grains and proteins, so before I full on become a vegetarian, I want to get some more information on the practice as a whole. Until I feel comfortable to "fly solo" I am currently planning on eating only lean meats (chicken and fish mainly), while I experiment with other vegetarian-type diets. Thoughts? muziclab
oliboli1992
Nuts are a good source of protein, just go for unsalted nuts though....In general vegetables tend to have lower calories per gram than other food sources, so you do tend to get a fuller sized meals. I'm not a vegetarian so i won't be much help. [spoiler=Sig] I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed. Quite helpful. Still would love some extra opinions, though. muziclab

Resistance
If you want to lose weight, certainly don't go vegetarian. It means that your reliance on carbs and other foods will go up, your muscle tone will go down. In fact, go the opposite. Have a look at paleo. Paleo is a very good food diet to go with, it essentially means eating food that are not processed.Going back to our roots and eating food that our ancestors would have eaten, getting a good balance of all the nutrition you need. constrictor
Thanks for all the tips! By dietary reasons I mean, just eating healthier. I don't specifically want to lose weight, I'm actually at a good weight for my height, etc. I just thought it's be fun to try something new this summer, but didn't want to halfass it. muziclab
