What are the ideal/max-dps binds now? Still anything 2h like primal maul/ccs/ssb or is dw superior for range? I know magic is limited because of the damage cap, so I'll assume just stick with my bound staff. I primarily range and figured tonight would be as good as any to bind hunt.

 

Also have ssh bound, worth keeping/using or no? I'm on the lookout for a blood necklace...

 

Is binding/using t99 legs better than t90 body?

Choice of:

1) Sagittarian shortbow, Shadow silk hood and Sagittarian arrows

2) Celestial catalytic staff, Shadow silk hood and law runes

3) Primal knife, Primal off-hand knife and law runes

4) Celestial catalytic wand, Celestial orb and law runes

5) Sagittarian shortbow, Celestial catalytic staff and Sagittarian arrows

 

I would guess that 4 is optimal because of the law runes, great 5s basic ability for dual wield magic and decent range. I've used knives and the range is so short it annoys me to no end. You can't even fire across half the room, including a lot of chasms.

 

I'd bind a primal chainbody until you get a platebody. Don't bother with legs.

 

You can get another body than primal plate if you primarily mage (Celestial top) but I wouldn't use a Sagittarian body because that's a bigger penalty to melee, and melee ends up being the highest dps because of Sever, Assault and more abilities in general.
