New Melee Training Spot

Featured Replies

It's from the new Cabin Fever quest.

It isn't the best out there because you have to talk to the captain and have him set sail in the port again, but other than that it's fine. There are definitely better spots, but I think this could rank up there.

They do autoattack for awhile, and have 52 hp. The drops are pretty mediocre, but those don't matter if you just want efficiency. The thing that makes this place so great is that there aren't any other people to compete with over pirates, and the bank distance isn't too bad. If you have bones to peaches, you won't ever need to bank though. They even drop natures, earths, and waters so everything's free. Don't forget that once you complete the quest you're no longer able to fight them.

thats pretty dumb from jagex' part in my opinion... its stupid you get punished for completing a quest....

punished? just train somewhere else or dont finish the quest

its not like there aren't better training spots in other places

what kind of drops do they have, like anything of value. ill be sure to check it out when im done getting bones to peaches

Dragon Drops: 5 medium helmet, 3 left shield half

Obby: Maul 1, Cape 1, Shield 1

Pretty good assuming you don't complete the quest. So that's pretty dumb unless you plan to never ever finish the quest.

They drop runes for bones to peaches, but bring a water staff anyways. I haven't really gotten any water runes, but I get a lot of nature and earths. Other than that they drop a lot of runes in smallish amounts, and you always have the chance of getting a half shield or half keys. Other than that they're nothing special drop-wise.

It's also fun to shoot cannonballs at them and see the 52 damage splots insta-killing them. When I did the quest I got so confused and sad, lol. I was standing under a pirate that got hit a 52 and I looked up and my red bar was gone and I was like OMG!. I had some stuff with me... lol.

That gives no exp... but you also can't do that after completing the quest... lol. :(

But you do get pirate clothes! :) (and Jagex pirate humor... actually rather funny in many cases).

Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.

Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.
