POP Armor

I can make full melee and full mage sets, and working on full range, but need 90 thief to get better trade goods for range.

 

But I dont see what I would use the armor for. For PVM, I use elite void at Glacors, and am not sure if full mage POP armor would be better than Void elite with its bonuses.

 

For full melee, I am not sure which PVM I would do and if it would be better GP/Hour than glacors. People say glacors is like 3-4M per hour, but once you factor in shards it seems better than that.

 

The only other monster I see feasible for me, being that I only Solo, is QBD, but what armor would I use for that and would it be worth it in more money per hour than Glacors which I am used to and I hear QBD is complicated with stages of attacks etc...

Any place you would use ports Nex armor is better.

 

The only time you'll "need" the defense is if you tank Nex or the KK, and full DL is needed to solo Kree with just soul split.

 

I would still work on getting it though, I believe that the ports expansion that we're getting is going to add an option of bonus damage to our superior versions.

 

 

QBD is not complicated. With Drygore you can pretty much walk through with sub 3 min kills every time. The only thing you need to watch for is the 4x soul spawns and the super breath in phase 4 but if you use berserker and adrenaline pots that will only come up 1/100 times that you do it. That being said it's probably about the same as Glakkers for money at this point.

 

Unless of course you don't care about efficiency, in that case you can screw using offensive armor and just use ports everywhere.

I do believe the question wasn't PoP vs. Nex. It was assuming that Nex gear is not an option, are there any real uses for PoP armor? (And if yes, how much better is it than elite void at said places.)

It is never better than any armor that boosts your damage with the exception of tanking Nex and KK or soloing Kree.

 

Defense is never needed outside of those situations, so my apologies for assuming that people would assume other damage boosting armor where applicable if nex is not affordable (which outside of Torva it very much is affordable, especially if he's making 3-4 m/hr at glacors).

 

Next time I'll make sure to make my posts even more idiot proof so there's no confusion.

Other than the few situations mentioned above GWD armour gives more than enough defence for everything.
