I'm going to be working for 99 attack (currently 97 about 1.3m exp 'till 99) and was wonder what the best method to do this would be?

Have drygores, torva/bandos, curses, overloads, etc.

DO NOT have access to Fight Cauldron or Frost Dragons

 

Things I'm thinking about doing:

Deadly Red Spiders

Black Demons

 

What would be the best thing to train on?

Slayer is the way to go, Deadly Red Spiders and black demons are both trash.

 

Unlocking the fight cauldron would be worth it as it is the best in pure melee exp plus you get the odd 60 k slayer exp/hr from the lamps, and obsidian armor is the best for doing the fight caves/kiln.

Already have a decent enough slayer level (in my eyes) and want to just bust out 99 attack as fast as possible to join PSO.

Abyssal demons are fast. Water fiends with drygores are your wisest choice if you still need summoning exp.

Don't have 85 Slayer. What's the exp p/h like for waterfiends post buff?

Go get 85 slayer.

 

Last I checked waterfiends are still well over 300 k xp/hr in addition to being more than 350 crimsons an hour. Pre buff they were close to 425 k xp/hr ish I think.

You're only 81 slayer, though.

you're not high enough slayer unless you're 99.

Just did deadly reds. Got about 240k exp p/h with torva, dual raps, ovls, turm, and abilities.

Which is trash compared to waterfiends. You would also be better off with bandos and drygores vs torva and rapiers.

Sell Torva, buy Drygore's and Bandos. Do waterfiends if you absolutely want to waste xp and camp a monster. Slayer is the best choice though if you intend to max one day.

ive been using slay to train ever since i got membs, with hte exception of bursting lobs for 94 mage :P still need range and mage, but mage is only one level off. granted, i sometimes still melee for speed, but i am 96 slay. getting no combat xp while you train sucks, its just better to do it now.
