So, I used to play this game religiously back back when I was younger (2001-2002 ish to 2008) and I was CRAZY into Runescape classic, and I don't even know if that's around anymore so when I say classic im talkin walk around with no knees classic haha. Before runescape 3d. Then Rs3d came out and I started to lose interest, still played a bit, mostly rotating between Classic and 3d then I just quit pretty much and haven't played for about 6 or 7 years now. Anyway I JUST downloaded it again today and want to start up again maybe. Only problem is that its been SOOO long I am a complete noob walking around in this decently advanced accounts body haha. Can someone explain briefly to me what has happened with the game in the last 5 years, and where I can go from here? Also, is a full set of Veracs armour worth anything anymore? I think that's close to all I have plus some rune junk. I gave most of my stuff away.

The new interface system and the new combat system are the biggest changes. To get a basic understanding of them press F7 and look through all of the information there. Visit the combat academy north of lumbridge castle for a tutorial on the new system.

We now have a place called the grand exchange which is in northwest Varrock, people can place offers to buy and sell items, it is very convenient. It is similar to the auction house in world of warcraft if you have ever used that.

The new skills we have are slayer, hunter, summoning and dungeoneering, and soon a new skill called divination. All of those except dungeoneering are members skills but as a non member you can train them to level 20.
