December 30, 201312 yr Hi everyone. My RuneScape username's Brink, but you can call me Dylan. I don't play RuneScape very much anymore, but I remember that one of the main obstacles of gameplay was being able to quickly find good, credible information in a neatly organized way. Over the years, I've wasted countless hours switching from skilling method to skilling method because I didn't receive proper information the first time. This is the problem RuneScape Guides seeks to solve. Currently, users are able to create guides and categorize them by tag. Within the next week, favorite lists, upvotes and downvotes, and a feed of the latest, most popular guides will all be implemented. As of right now, the application can be found here: http://www.rsguides.net Please give me feedback by commenting here. It's the only way I'll know how to make the application better. Cheers
December 30, 201312 yr Most of the time when I look something up, it seems to be correct-and if it's incorrect, whether Tip.It or RuneScape Wiki, there is usually a procedure to have it fixed. I don't really know too much about the Tip.It Crew, but if this is something you're interested in investing a lot of time in, correcting and improving guides might be more beneficial to others than just ranking them. Anyway, cheers and good luck! "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art? --- My blog here if you want to check out my Times articles and other writings! I always appreciate comments/feedback.

January 4, 201412 yr Author I've added a Karma system to the site. That way users are motivated to always post good content.
January 6, 201412 yr This looks cool. I'd recommend allowing upvotes / downvotes without registering. You can require registration for it at a later date if you really want, but very few people are going to register just to vote. Once you've done that you should post it to reddit/runescape. Edit: This header stuff is too big Stuff at the top is the type of stuff that is better to the side. Or make it so the top header thing that says home, help, guides, etc. scrolls down with you. Your main page is brief which is appreciated, but it's too spaced out and means unnecessary scrolling. Also clicking home when not on the home page doesn't show you that it's loading, which is really weird on a slow connection since it makes it seem broken. Otherwise it is excellent overall and I would definitely use this.
