chenw
Chaotic Staff, Chaotic crossbow is out of the question because you need both MH and OH, which requires 300k tokens, and you already have Royal. You are saving for Drygores, so you will get limited use out of Maul. Staff would be your best bet 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills. Dragon Pickaxe Drops: 1 (Times after I first entered Battlefield: 2h)
Ammako
After getting Chaotic staff, it may be a good idea to get Chaotic claws as well so that you can kill Frost dragons faster than with just Vine whip + Enhanced Excalibur.
PumpkinPete112
I will literally not be leaving Frosts till 90 Atk, and I plan to train DG a ton more. If that is the case would it be wort hit to get Claws to make Dragons go faster, than the staff? Like I want to get Drygores, play with slayer for a bit, then go back to DG for all the Scrolls+Charming Imp+More Chatoics+ Maybe Bonecrusher (In That Order) Sig
Ammako
If you don't plan on using the staff, then it would probably be a better choice to get the claws first. Dual-wield Rapiers and Longswords aren't worth it unless you like the look and don't mind sacrificing the critical hit bonus from the claws; they also cost 100k tokens more than the claws. The Maul costs the same amount as the claws, but without a critical hit bonus. It can also use 2h abilities, which the Claws cannot; however, 2h abilities would offer no advantage against Frost dragons over dual-wield abilities from the Claws. tl;dr the Claws would be a better choice for what you want to do, statistically speaking.
Th e Doctor
Staff maging sucks. I would get cclaws and then drygores. You can always destroy the claws later for the 50% token return once you have drygores so that you can get a charming imp and spend less time in DG to get the rewards you want for slayer. You don't "need" magic for slayer besides ganodermic creatures and an armabstaff would work fine if you want to use a staff, otherwise t7 dw magic works fine too. Just drygore through slayer while you work on saving the cash for higher end dw mage options and pray that Jagex finally pulls their hands out of their bums and fixes range's dps and does something to make magic weapons more affordable like adding dw t85 to ports. Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3Nex : 1 Zaryte BowKalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword
