How do I choose which melee skill I wanna train now?

It's been a long time since I got used to the combat system we have now.

But one thing I don't find in any tab is how I customize what melee skill I wanna train.

I already leveled up strength, so I wanna train defense next and attack after that.

How exactly do I do it now? I looked at all tabs and couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hit f4, then look at the bottom right corner of the window that pops up.

If you rebound your f4 key, click on the "powers" button on the main bar thing. (the three swirly whitish-blue magic balls)

As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero.

Ensure you are not a social situation.

^ In addition to that note that within the 'powers' menu there is a few tabs

Melee, Ranged, Magic and Defensive

The xp toggle thing appears on the first three and in each case refers to that type of combat (so melee tab effects melee xp etc.)

A search function is available, but here, I copied my original answer from another thread:

Yup, the F buttons work by default, but the basic way is this:

You click on THIS button on your main menu bar:

Which opens up the following menu:

Where the YELLOW are shows were you can change your combat exp gains and the RED menus allow you to choose the same thing for other combat styles.

These settings can be changed at ANY time, no matter what you have equipped. And they will be saved for whenever you go into combat next, regardless of style.
