What thieving level should I get before I pickpocket dwarf traders?

Featured Replies

I'm almost level 90 thieving. I'm planning on getting 99 by pickpocketing dwarf traders, as I want to earn some money on my way to level 99. But I figured it'd be kind of stupid to go pickpocket them immediately after I reach level 90 as I'd fail way too much to train my thieving level efficiently. So here's my question to my fellow RuneScapians; what level do you recommend I get before I go to the dwarf traders?

I would suggest you get at least 90 thieving as you will only fail roughly 70% of the time compared to 80 or more. If you want to fail a lot less and don't want to get mad by failing so many times get 95.

Sattern.

It's probably best to wait to do them until around 95 as the xp doesn't pay off until then. Keep doing PP or MKF(eww) until you get to around 95, 94 at the very least or otherwise you might get very annoyed by failing so often.

My advice is don't pickpocket the dwarf traders, it's not worth it. Even at 99 thieving they still catch me almost every time.

And at the top of that, there are also tough guards you have to deal with. And these guards are the total opposite of the weak guards at Ardougne stall.

The way I train thieving is to pickpocket knights. And I often get quite a lot of EXP that way, not to mention some money.
