February 19, 200620 yr Ok here is my thought on how to totally refresh runescape for the old school players or even new players that actually want a challenging game. One or the combination of the following two things. A ladder season and or a hardcore/hardcore ladder season. (For those that dont know a ladder season is like a seperate highscores list that lasts for a set period of time you all start at scratch and work your way up starting the same day ending the same day say 6 months or 1 year. Hardcore or HC is that when you die you are dead. No going to lumby no keeping 3 items. your character is lost and forgotten.) If either of these were implemented they would require their own worlds like the rsclassic worlds so that there can be no interaction between them and current characters.(this is a total economy renewal) Each p2p account would be allowed 1 hc and or 1 ladder character at a time (if your hc char dies you can make another. as for the ladder character you can only make one per season) Everyone would be starting on the same playing field. Skills would matter alot again. Trading items for items and selling to general stores would become incredibly important for a few months. At the end of the ladder season perhaps there would be an item reward for highest xp highest in each skill highest cb etc. Simple untradable items like perhaps capes or hats of somekind. When the season ends your ladder character would be moved into the regular game. Any special items obtainable in the ladder season would be untradable outside the ladder but still usable after being moved into regular play. But really all of you retired players what would get you back into rs for a year or even a few months.? I know this would [bleep]e my interest into rs to what it was my first day of playing. Starting off on a world with say 1000 players that would be on that same world with you everyday. teamwork would become absolutely essential no one could get high mining and smithing fast enuf to be of much use in the season but 2 players working together could do this. well any thoughts ? i could go into alot more detail on this but i think this is enough of a post to explain my idea for now.

Hey, I like Diablo... although I've never done Battle.net and I liked the unsupported Hellfire expansion for the original. Seriously though, I thought this was going to be a suggestion to add a sort of resurrection to very high level prayer-- although I don't know how that would be done.

And you would need to carry something with you, like a special prayer book that cost about 10k-30k each in order to cast it. When you use it your prayer book will dissapear, or lose its charge.
