Dragonbane

Is it true that dragonbane with a Rcb is better to kill QBD with than Bandos armour + Drygores?

To add another question, is it true that adamant ignot 3 is about 200k xp/h while afking?  I don't really get the workshop, but if im right, all i do is just make any of the 4 addy ignot 3 items (Or what is called for for extra xp)?

I'm not sure on the first question, but I may be of help on the others.  I remember getting about 40k/hr for iron i ingots in the workshop.  Since adamant iii is 5x the xp each, 200k/hr seems reasonable for completely afk.  If you want to get the 10% bonus, you'll need to pay attention a little more.  At the top of the screen (you won't be able to miss it), there will be an interface telling you which of the four items currently is yielding bonus xp.  Sauk will also be yelling things about it, but that's not as relevant.  There are also rewards in the workshop that are useful, such as increasing that bonus just a little, and random burst pipes that give you free xp for fixing.  You can read a full article here on RuneScape Wiki for more information.

Unless/until you really understand the best way to use melee at qbd, range is easier and much more sustainable. Melee can result in faster kills but at the cost of supplies used/trip length and has a higher learning curve. I personally love range there and recommend it to everyone who can use dbane.

As far as royal vs drygores goes, I think it depends on your experience. I've heard people who switched say everything from it was slower, to that it was the same speed or faster than with drygores.

Artisan's workshop is where you make the item he tells you to. A full load takes ~4.something minutes, almost 5, I think (It's been many months since I was there). You get an xp bonus if you make the right item but it changes about every 3-4 you make, if memory serves. So yes, if you just make any random item, 200k/hr sounds about right.  I think doing it perfectly is anywhere from 225-250k?

Prior to making this topic, i killed the QBD 3 times (my first 3 times) All three kills were with melee.

Trip 1: I used almost my entire inventory worth of sharks to keep myself alive

Trip 2: i used 4 sharks total

Trip 3: I used about 13 Sharks.

Seems its really unpredictable.

Also, thanks on the advice on the Workshop. Any idea how much 74-80 Would cost me?

With adamant iii and no bonuses, it's 23 gp/xp (going by wiki prices, if not outdated), and 74-80 is roughly 900k, so I estimate 21M.  If you pay attention and use the 10% bonus for crafting the correct item, it should cost about 10% less.

You can also boost that 10% to more. Also having the elite fally task shield wielded increases XP (my xp rates are without this as I didn't realize until after). Over the last few weeks I have been getting 225-235k/hr while trying to keep up with the items which were being called. I didn't have all boosts to xp yet, but now I do. I can update you again with my rate this week if you want. I have been using the weekly aura for more XP. But the rate above is factoring that out. My total for 2 hours is about 900-940k.

If you are 99 smithing it is faster and cheaper to do Rune 2h at forges. FYI

Hope that helps.
