February 6, 201511 yr Title says it all. Will be comp'd when I get round to this (120 prayer) so assume Yak etc...Any more efficient ideas / tips welcome.
February 6, 201511 yr Assuming that there weren't any major advances to help speed things up in the last few years, it would seem to be around 1400/hr. Probably you can bump that up a little higher by taking advantage of bank presets for inventory and BoB. Using your own house is also more efficient apparently, something I thought was the other way around until I looked it up :P. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." February 6, 201511 yr Yeah, while I hesitate to use the qualifier 'best' it does still seem like the way to go. Cremation comes close with a 250% bonus instead of 350%/bone, but processing the bones, for lack of a better word, takes much longer, i.e. like over a minute for a full inventory vs the 25 seconds or whatever for the altar. And aside from the AFK component of it being convenient, as a future comped player you are probably wasting a lot in terms of opportunity cost if you go that route. February 6, 201511 yr I was capable of offering 1500+ bones per hour using a War Tortoise. However, this could be a bit more with a Yak. I used the Yanille Open Altars since you do not need to relight the altar yourself. As Arceus said, you can alternatively use Cremation, which even though it's only 250% more exp compared to 350% with Altars, it is actually fairly quick due to not having to teleport (and risk teleport lagging). Even though it's more costly, you still gain a good amount of Firemaking experience; in fact probably more than bonfiring elder logs since it only takes 3 ticks to drop a bone on the fire. Also, neither Cremation nor Gilded altar will work on double weekend. Also, check out my Youtube Channel for more awesome RS Videos and Guides!
February 6, 201511 yr They said that before with Cremation, but you still got the regular amount of Prayer xp (250%, not 200%) and the Firemaking xp was in fact doubled. We'll see what happens this time. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for."
