Well ive been working lately and trying to improve my work alot, havent been on these forums that often, and especially not the media board, and i recently posted a few nice terragen but also ps works at my dev art, so here they are

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mystic lake

 

 

 

The landscape was rendered in terragen, i made 2 renders, a very foggy one and a not foggy one, combined them, erased some stuff, made the sky come out a bit more, and ofcourse the waterfalls, all waterfalls i have are handmade, for you cant make waterfalls in terragen :(

 

 

 

took me about 7 hours of postprocessing, 4 hours of rendering (says 5 hours at image, cuz i didnt want it to look as if i dont have a life, but who cares, these are my holidays ;) )

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Waterfall Mountain

 

 

 

A more simpel but nice image of a spring mountain with yet another waterfall, also custom made :P

 

 

 

Waterfall took me about 3 hours and 45 mins :P and the lightning like 15 lol, render about 20 min getting settigns right and 5 min render

Probably my best terragen piece ever, no post processing, 100% Raw terragen :) , it wasnt that time consuming though, about 1 hour twitching and half an hour rendering

The only real thing that could be improved is your surface maps. They are either lacking, or unrealistically cover the terrain.

10/10 for all of them! :shock: IF u hadn't said they were created, I would have assumed they were photos. Excellent job!

very nice i dont like the water fall thing with the bridge it looks kinda unrealistic but 9/10 for all of them

and yeah the bridge isnt that good, best one i could find lol, i saw alot of great artist having stuff like that in their pieces so i tried it as well :)

i love the 3rd, abit empty on the left side perhaps, but sweet.

Nice job on the "fly by" one. It does need a better surface map, and maybe even a touch up on the atmosphere, but i like the placement.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now just work on your surface map's m8, just look at some picture's of mountains and stuff. If you don't have any i can send some over msn sometime, i have a lot of good photos of mountains in switzerland and stuff :D Reeealy good for reference, they have everything, grass, rock, water and snow :P And all in between.
