Hi, this may seem a daft question, but I was a member many years ago and playing again on F2P. I have had to go right back to the beginning as I have lost everything under my old account dets. Is this right? or will I regain everything if I pay to be a member again? Cheers

If you had member skills leveled up and are now f2p, if you return to p2p your skills will return to their normal level that you last had them at. It takes awhile, so just drink a restore potion so there is no waiting. Hope this answers your questions, good on ya mate!

Your account should still have the same stats even if you've been F2P for a while, but from what you seem to be saying above your stats have all been reset to 1? Could you please clarify what exactly happened?

If you have not played since a very long time ago (circa 2001-2) there is a chance they may have wiped your account stats as well.

One last possibility: are you trying to play on Old School? If so, you start with level 1 stats there independent of your stats and items on RS3. If you go to your RS3 character, the stats and items you have should all be there though. They are two separate products and characters, even on the same account.

Edit: I need to type faster, keep getting ninja'd these days  .

Hi all. Cheers for all that. I was originally on old Runescape till the new one came about, don't know years think it was about 10 years or so.

So, I have been playing on F2P oldschool runescape and it made me a beginner again.

I have never tried the new Runescape (RS3 is it?), but could always try.

So yeah, you will have 1's on Old School, but you should have all your old stuff and levels on RS3, the new RuneScape. Just go to the regular RS homepage (runescape.com), click play, and you should be all set if you want to try it out :).

OSR and RS3 are 100% separate games. The only difference is that they use the same account to log in to.

I am not sure what happened to you RS3 stats or if you checked on them, but OSRS was started as a new game and everyone came with fresh stats several years ago. So if 7 years ago was the last time you played RS, you would have 1 stats and no items on the game. There isn't any way to transfer stats over between games.

No, it's not possible to do that. Your old stats stay on the RS3 version, and if you choose to play Old School, you have to start from all level 1, no matter what, as it is for everyone.
