March 5, 201511 yr I am doing my research for the quest Prince Ali Rescue, and need to get as much information as possible. Thankfully I found a YouTube video that shows the exact dialog, and I also know where I can read what I was supposed to do, but there is one thing about the quest I don't know yet. Why was Ali arrested in the first place? I don't understand, nowhere in the dialog is it explained. I know the quest is no longer available, that's alright, I am gonna review it since I do think it was a great quest. I hope someone can answer my question. I do need to know the answer if possible for my research, thank you.

March 5, 201511 yr Prince Ali was captured by Lady Kelli whilst touring Lumbridge to be ransomed. Also not entirely true that the quest is gone it was remade into Stolen Hearts which has a bit more preamble to set the tone as you end up uncovering the kidnap/ransom stuff by accident. Plus it gives more details of why exactly Keli wanted to ransom him (she wanted the Kharid-Ib) and develops her character and motivations further in the sequel - Diamond in the Rough Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

He wasn't arrested. He was captured. So basically it was an illegal kidnapping?

March 6, 201511 yr He wasn't arrested. He was captured.Even more particularly, I think I remember something saying Prince Ali had been kidnapped. :-k ~D. V. And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)

He was captured. So basically it was an illegal kidnapping? As opposed to legal kidnapping? Whoops, I didn't mean to imply that legal kidnapping exists, I should have just said kidnapping. The reason I said "illegal kidnapping" is because kidnapping is illegal. Though to be fair that's redundant. That'd be like saying a driving car or a swimming fish. I am laughing at my own stupidity.
