Greedom1
mods, feel free to switch this to the rants section... (not that I could stop ya) :) Anyways, I was just killing a black dragon -- had him down to less than 15 gp... system update (crap.) Ok, no big deal, right.... I'll kill him when I get back. Not a problem. Here is my gripe/rant if you will... I log in again -- less than 30 seconds later.... the black drag is now full hp... but... I'm --not-- full special... My point is, if he "restarts," why shouldn't I? I'm sure this issue has been around forever, but that frikin stinks guys... (and gals) Any thoughts? RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?

Guest runescape_it_out
All the npcs and everything resets after a system update. Your character doesn't reset.

Barihawk
Basically, the NPCs are stored on a different server than your character. They try thier best to keep your character as it was while resetting the server. Basically, you are barking the opposite of "omg, roll back I loose dragon med!" My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
lagatag
It's so that if the server messes up Jagex can hopefully fix it without rolling back your character. Would you rather have no special or lose all yoru items/xp gained?
