i realy like a new update for rangers

moopy, this is another "we rangers want to be the best combat style again, now that its all balanced we dont own everyone anymore, boo hoo. we dont care that we are the cheapest form of combat, we want to be the best combat form too!!!!!" topic. from time to time they pop up. we'll just have to ignore em :wink:

 

 

 

True, but a new EXPENSIVE ranger armour with NEGATIVE MELEE ATTACK, and good magic defense (to make sure rangers do own mages, since it can be really really hard, and shouldntr be like that) wouldnt hurt.

 

 

 

This way, the loot from killing a ranger would be good, and rangers would at least have a good advantage over mages, like it should.

Not if you make it well worth it. But indeed, quite a lot of people would still use hides. However, you see people pking in dharok/ahrims and what not, so why not this new armour?

Well here is a solution, but you won't like it.

 

 

 

Give back the ranger double spec, heck make it 3.....But the melee def of hides now becomes -100. Why you ask, think about it, a ranger doesn't want to be hit close range.

OK, here is my view on Rangers and PKing, note I am 99 Range.

 

 

 

For all the time that rangers had a massive unfair advantage over EVERYONE in RS2, if they hit nothing but zeros for the rest of the RS lifetime, it would still be unfair.

 

 

 

Thast how unbalanced range was, so tough it up, you had your day, its over.

 

i totally agree i raised range to 90 because of the unbalance its over so now im 99 mage lol

Im tired and sick off ppl sayin that mage is overpowered Barrage looks good but when u! have it isnyt good at all.it hits high but it really isnt that accurate.im 94 mage myself and i splash ALOT with barrage.its not worth the money i put getting in it
