iamsarahh
Problem 6: USE THE SPICE MODEL TO SOLVE FOR THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM. Situation: Your have a collection of 50 books with varous authors and genres and you need to organize them in some fashion. Possibilites: List 3 different possible solutions to the above problem. Investigate: Choose one of the possible solutions from above and a) Write a algorithm to solve the problem B) Write the pseudocode to solve the problem Construct: Given the follow subset of books, list them according to your algorithm. *The Hobbit - tolkien *The hours - Cunningham *Liberty - counts *10 best loved poems - smith *othello - Shakespeare *harrypotter - rowrling *Vince carter (biography) - Harris *buying a computer for dummies - [grime]in *the lovely bones - Sebold Evaluate: How would you test to see if the problem has been solved? State a test case that you might use. Please help me thank you ( or at least explain whats a algorithm or pseudocode in detail) THANKS

____
Author -> Alphabetical. If you need an algorithm for that.. too bad! Find a sort algorithm on the internet for sorting strings (any programming language) and you're done. There is also publish date and by title (alphbetical again). Both with practically the same algorithm..... *shrug*
How2PK
P Author/title. genre. Publishing date. Do the rest by yourself. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
unknownmasterofnothing
A algorithm is the specific steps you do to do something. Like dikstras algorithm. It should work all the time.
Nadril
Algorithm - What unknown said. Psudocode- Usualy it's written in kind of.. half code. For example, I do this a lot in C++, we will write out an algorithim, but we will use slight coding while writing it down. Think of it as half code / half writing. insane
Our Policy On Homework Help Asking for help with homework is fine - feel free to do that. What we don't allow is asking for direct answers or subtley asking, "How would you do this one problem?"
