Well i've been working on it for about 2 hours now... not sure where to go with the rest of this

 

 

 

I wanted a theme that had to do with bank pins so I created this. The back of a bank containing lasers and a chest with a pin on (Since thats what I wanted it to have) insted of a padlock

 

 

 

I'll add the text at the end but for now I need some help with a few things

 

 

 

Although I tried shadowing the chest it still looks weird to me...

 

How do I shaodw the floor/add texture to it

 

Same with the wall

 

Does the laser wall look awckward?

 

Is this idea plain stupid?

 

What should I add to eat up some plainness?

It would be nice if u made like a stand outside the laser so in order 2 turn the laser of, u need a pin. Also, the laser needs 2 be beside a wall, cause u can walk around that 1.

 

 

 

If the chest is closed, why is there money on it?

 

 

 

Also, put sum items in there, sinse ppl dont only keep money in their banks.

 

 

 

 

 

Make the lasers look more like laser than like a portal 2 another dimension.

 

 

 

Might wanna make the coins more realistic rather than just little golden peices of fluff. And the gold bars work in the picture, but they need 2 have stronger shade and more even. Maybe try satkking them.

I agree completeing. I moved the lasers over to the wall so it's more like a direct door. The gold bars looked ackward from the start. I was viewing some decent pixel sigs and some of them had stacks of coin. Rather then making it look like a mound i'm going to make it look more stacked.

 

 

 

I tried some items last night. I'll probably try the party hat again, my abby whip didnt go so swell... i'm thinking about adding some armour, probably god or dragon.. not going to attempt barrows yet

 

 

 

The coins were ment to be behinde the chest, not on it. I'm glad you didnt mind the sahding. It was my first time actraully shading and I think the chest came out nicely. I kept telling myself that great pixels take time. i guess i never relised that before but now I suppose I have. If I can do that in 2 hours then I guess you just have to work at it. Take things out add them in, edit edit edit.

Here's an update. I've decided to drop this whole idea...

 

 

 

1. The canvas is too small and would comsume too much time to rework everything

 

2. a plain room is boring.. looking for some action and I want to work on my charectors

 

3.Im horriable with floors and walls. I tried.. i'll probably do something that involves the outside world
