Ragen
I know there is another thread on video cards at the moment but I thought I would start my own than hi-jacking it. Well anyway I need to buy and Install a new video card for my PC. I've got a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã150 budget and I heard that this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130271 was a good buy. However I have no-idea if my PC will run it (I heard something about PCI-E pc's and AGP's) and which type to get (There seemed to be different brangs of Geforce 6800). My PC is a Mesh 3200 AMD 64. Thanks for your help Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!
Icehart
I couldn't seems to find proper specification of Mesh 3200 AMD 64 computer. May you please guide me to a page which displays/tells the specification of your computer?
Ragen
I think this is it but I never remebered it being called the Matrix when I bought it. This is my PC but I added a bit more ram to it. http://www.meshcomputers.com/Default.aspx?PAGE=PRODUCTVIEWPAGE&USG=PRODUCT&ENT=PRODUCT&KEY=71873 Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar! Icehart
Yup, your motherboard supports PCI-E x16..so Nvidia Geforce 6800GS would be a good buy for graphic card.

Ragen
Thanks for helping me choose but now I need help installing it.... I think I know what to do but I have no idea where it goes. In order to get it running I have to first take out the original card. Where can I find this? I need help! Edit: Again! Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar! Doomster
The original graphics appear to be onboard ... rather better than most onboards though... So nothing to take out - it should be disabled (or perhaps usable alongside) when another card is inserted. The graphics slot is normally the topmost slot in a mini-tower - yes, the topmost, black slot is the PCI express X16, below that are two standard PCI and at the bottom is a PCI express X1. PS. Looks like the card requires a PCI-E power connector ... the 6 pin receptacle at the end of the board - if your PSU has one, connect it, otherwise you need a molex to PCI-E power cable (plug two spare drive power cables into an adapter cable). It is also possible that the standard system PSU may not be adequate to support the extra demand.
egyp05
What you got there is a very good video card. I personally like all EVGA videocards since they have a lifetime warranty... even when overclocked. No other company offers such a good warranty! And it's from newegg... a company you can trust

Ouch man... I'm so sorry to hear that. I guess it's just a matter of bad luck with you eh? Well, as for other sites, have you tried amazon.com? They have decent prices

Well, as for other sites, have you tried amazon.com? They have decent prices im probably just going to go newegg again. $30 loss for just bad luck sucks, but it happens. if i dont get the money refunded (if they blame it on me) then i will be seriously pissed, and not buy from them again. problem is, my credit card is maxed. i got a few hundred cash right now, so it would be cool to get it at a store. the $130 one i ordered ($99 after rebate, never did do the rebate though. lucky for me, they dont accept a return at all if you do the rebate) was $180 at best buy.
