March 22, 200620 yr Hi, I was recently cutting maples, and half way through I got teleported to this Monestary, and was told to light some candles. But, it takes about 5 attempts to light each candle, and one of the candles i lit blows out after about 5 seconds. I have been here for the past 2 days, and cannot get out because you cannot walk out or tele. How can i do this random event? or how can i escape? please help me thanx
March 22, 200620 yr Best bet would be to send jagex a messege saying that you are stuck in there because your firemaking skill is not at a high enough skill. Though, you might get an automated reply after waiting like 6 days.. If this happens I would call jagex and request my character to be removed from there and ask for a couple day refund of members. The latter might not happen, but hopefully they will remove you from there. And I advise you to level firemaking when you get out :P Help drive change Canada
March 22, 200620 yr Also if you get exp for every candle you light, then keep lighting them till you have firemaking high enough to get out. I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? March 25, 200620 yr Author thanx, I'll contact Jagex and get my firemaking up once I get out. I think my members subscription only has a day or 2 left, so when it runs out I'll just appear in Lumbridge. Ill check it out now, thanx again.

March 26, 200620 yr Author Well I contacted Jagex about it, and in typical Jagex form, they were completely useless. All they said is that I should be able to complete the task whatever my level, and that they cannot refund me or add any days to my credit. If I was able to complete the task, I would have done so by now because I have been trying for 3 days! Hopefully my second support query will help, Otherwise, seeing as it is f2p aswell, Im stuffed.
March 26, 200620 yr I feel your pain, the exact same thing happened to me while i was cooking (even the exact time i was in there) im not sure on how to get out because i paided my freind to get me out. I also conntacted jagex but of course like in your case, they did nothing. But there is only 1 way to get out, light the candles from left to right and only do the candles with the big whisks I really hope you get out because for me i almost quit Runescape because of it :cry:
March 26, 200620 yr Just light the TALL ones, the one you start off is short. Only tall ones and they wont burn down. I have 20 firemaking and I got past it. I was stuck in it too :( "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
March 27, 200620 yr Author Finally completed the task, thanx for all the help. It put a serious dent in my fletching training, so I'll have to hurry up :D
