Because it rhymes...Which is somehow what I think the author was aiming at, being the other 3 words rhyme

Good also, but it makes the poem sound awkward when 4 lines in a row all rhyme, but all the other lines rhyme every 2 lines.

Perhaps... Then again it is a suggestion and thats the plus side of suggestions they can be expanded.
