constructive criticism please!

but with some research on techniques and other things, this is my first good sig:

 

 

 

In the second one, the shark was the only thing drawn on paper, so please include if i should draw the whole thing first, or just the main parts.

Super Mario Bros. 3 kicked [wagon]! Though, Super Mario World is like, my favourite Mario game ever. I totally mastered it.

Anyways, not bad. Especially the shark. I thought of EVO when I saw 'em. ;P Very nice.

The first one is a bit simple and boring even if it alludes to Mario. The second pic's shark is pretty nice, but needs some improvements. The frontal fins should be wider, not so thin, the boundary between blue/white color of the shark shouldn't be so horizontal, make it more natural (not so straight or uniform).

ya, but i intendedly (is that a word?) slendered down the fins a little because its not a real kind of shark, i made it up. and ya, i know, the first one is pretty bad. :lol:

The second one is better, but the first is realted to Mario (weee)

 

Theres too many fishes and maybe the sand needs a bit more of work, but is good overall.
