Piscis_Rex Posted March 31, 2006 Share Posted March 31, 2006 well i was in varrock world 2 trying to buy full rune and I see a guy say selling pole 50k, and another guy saying buying pole 3mil in items, so I thought this was one of those team scams when the two of them actually traded and the guy who was selling said wow, thanks, but then the thing that suprised me the most was that the guy who had just bought a pole(worthless item?) then said "haha I scammed you, I can sell this for 15mill, so what is this pole and is it worth 15mil 99.99999998465% of the world's population is not me, if you are the 0.00000001535% that is me, put this in you signature -"being famous is like being a woman, if you have to tell people you are, you aren't" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mullein Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 If indeed these two where working together they may of from time to time as they "worked" an area, pretended to trade to help lay a foundation for thier scam. I know that is the only thing I can guess about it and I do hope you took a moment and report both of them. Leave it to Jagex to sort this out but for sure it looks like a scam...and a well worked scam at that. Not a smart scam...just a well worked one.
