Guest GhostRanger
I say yes! Cause then you can do anything else and know it won't kill you! I was going to say no until I read this. Now I don't know. Wouldn't knowing your fate ultimately cause you to change it? Think of Macbeth where the poor fool would not have killed his best friend if he was not told by the witches that Banquo would be greater than he. Interesting point, mostly because I just wrote a paper comparing the effects of knowing your fate/destiny in Hamlet and Crime and Punishment. Also, like in the movie Minority Report, knowing that he was suppose to kill the one guy he'd never met allowed him to change his fate. He had a choice as soon as he knew it was coming. So if you knew how you were going to die, and say, it was in a car wreck - you could just never ride in a car again. You'll still eventually would have to die, so something else will kill you. cadburys_egg
In the movie Big Fish they deal with this... I say yes! Cause then you can do anything else and know it won't kill you! Your logic ROCKS!
