Thinking of doing some Barrows

I was going to go to the Barrows but I'm hesitant because I'm not sure if I'm ready. I focus only on magic and dont usually train attack or strength.

Should I get my slayer lvl to 50? (its only 26 now :oops: ) so I can use the slayer staff. But I can use Ancient Magiks instead.

 

I have read through some barrows guides but I'm still unsure of what to bring or what to train before I go. Just wanted to know first hand what I should do.

so your going to mage all of them? ice burst is ok I guess... I dont think your strong enough though

u could do it bring about 6 prayer pots(4) and mage them all except the mage(ahrims), range him, and fight the ranger(karil) with mage i guess u really aint strong enough to fight him with melee

Yea thats what I was thinking. But I didnt know if maging them all was a good Idea so I wanted to ask people that have done barrows.

your hit points are a little low...I think dharok might be able to 1 hit you...dont quote me on that though.

not if he uses prayer so it wont matter really... but yea i think his max is 58 tho lol

I believe he can lost a good amount of my stuff. You could mage them just bring enought p pots

Range your way to 55 slayer so you can cast magic dart. While you could use ancients, it is nowhere near as profitable as magic dart.

 

 

 

Always get Dharok and Karil with your natural prayer, maybe using one dose of p pot if you don't have enough. If Karil is your tunnel brother, you will need to drink a prayer pot to fight him. If Dharok is your tunnel brother, always use a safespot.

 

 

 

No matter what, always use a safespot for Verac. The only exception for this being when Karil or Dharok are your tunnel brother. Range can take down Ahrim easily, though I suggest you raise it to 70+ while training slayer. Just cast slayer dart while wearing full rune or better on Guthan or Torag.

 

 

 

Whenever you fight the melee brothers; Dharok, Verac, Torag, or Guthan in the tunnels always usea safespot. You can find the location of these in Leesters guide.

with your stats i really don't recomend it. You would have to do A LOT of training.

You should be fine as long as you mage them all except ahrim. You're range level isn't to bad, mine was about that when I started.

 

 

 

Wear full mystic, with whatever staff you'll be using (mystic air staff and wind wave/blast works good) prayer book, ring of life.

 

 

 

Bring rune plate and legs for in the tunnels and for fighting guthan so he doesn't heal so much, and for torag if you want to try him without prayer.

 

Blue dhide body and legs, magic shortbow and rune arrows for ahrim.

 

2-4 prayer pots (4) (bring extra since your prayer is a bit lower just in case), and lobsters or better and you should be fine. (Do a few runs with sharks since your hits are low and if you feel its an overkill switch to lobs)

You're good enough, just get 55 slayer.

Honestly, all you really need is 43 pray and magic for the brothers.

 

 

 

Un-noting at mort'ton would be advisable, since you would consume a lot of food and potions every trip.

you have a very nice char their, but he isnt good for barrows. Get 85 mage and maybe 80 range or so, and get either a ancient friend or a tb friend(if u will ancient) and do some pking :D

59 Hp is pretty low, but 4 - 6 Pray Pots would cover it. Just becareful of Dharocks, that's where I died after I've finished around 15 barrows and got a little cocky. :oops:

You can use the safe spots in the tunnels and just mage karils and range arhims out of tunnel. The safe spots are in the north east corner on both sides of the doors. I wouldn't suggest ancients to you becuase the chance of you screwing up and getting hit for a big number with the lowish hp and def.

slayer 55 or u wont have any prifit except barrows items. it's simply cost too much to be effective adn gain some profit.
