April 4, 200620 yr NEW pics yay!!!! here some some staves and mister acient mage Here is lady magican - new style im trying out a little, i started likeing the top hatness aspect alot wieard i know :? i have always hated it before... BTW the horrrid hat was done before i really started drawing just sorta doodleing and then i was too lazy to actually make it look good oh yes the one above was completely free hand no picture nothing -.- this bottom one is from a coat but i can't ever get it to look right =( this time its sagging to the left quite a bit and a @#!!'ed up the sleeve! gah its so annoying cause i can shade the !!@# out of a picture but can't draw one to save my life... this coat one is also unfinished i didn't want to waste time with it cause i ruined the sleeve all to *#$$ :UPDATE: here she is the crowning glory mage lady!! anyhows hope you enjoyed em :? April 7, 200620 yr you can draw clothing much better than you can draw faces. I always have trouble with the eyes, i dont know what advice i could give you on them because i just use a little curved line, seems satisfactory but makes me mad when i look at the real thing. Anyway. Good job on the clothing. drawings are very sketchy, some of the pencil goes out of the lines (which i do alot when i sketch sometimes but...) so clean those up with an eraser. For the girl mage.. i've ALWAYS had trouble drawing girls, its impossible for me to make them look good lol. For instance their breasts, two curvy lines looks so flat, its hard to get them to "pop out". Make the hat a little lower so its not balancing on her head, the hair is ok but her body posistion doesnt seem to match her facial expression, (also get rid of that nasty "residew like line" you drew a few cm off her skirt and replace that with a shadow right next to her. April 7, 200620 yr Author yes finally some c\c !!! thanks so much for the advice! :P my hands in lady mage are so so normally thats the area that i work on the most... when drawing faces i can never get the lips right "sigh" when i try and do double lips to show the roundness and such all that happens is i end up haveing fat lips very fat lips... The hair i have to say doesn't look as good as it should... i drew it rather fast as i was trying to get to the clotheing :? Ah clotheing i can shade and brush till the cows come home this is my home ground... i used to draw in pen and pencil just the cloths of people when i was begining... ahh i loved it :P anyway i will try and work on those faces its difficult to get the animated expressions that i want :cry: New sigzor^^
April 7, 200620 yr I really like the mage's staff. Very very nice. ^_^ I can tell you spent alot of time on it. You really need to work on faces though. And she seems a little flat chested. I really like your style. You're very good at drawing clothes, which took me a little while to get down. Keep up the good work.
