Featured Replies

Why does RS and my CPU play so rough together?

Is this normal? Im on low detail.

Long since retired.

Runescape tends to use up as much memory as it can and the ram it uses increases with playing time and/or world switchers.

What are the specs of your pc?

AMD athlon 2200

CPU 1.8GHz

RAM 1GB

those are my basic specs

Long since retired.

I belive RS DOES use a lot of CPU, try closing some other programs running in the background but i doubt it will change a significant amount.

what are you talking about ?

He is asking about cpu usage not memory usage...yes that graph is "normal". Java takes every bit of cpu usage it can, thats the main problem with java software.

Runescape will use up more ram/cpu if you leave it open for several hours in the same window. Just close the client and get back in it every few hours, and you should be fine.

Never leave it open over night.

That works for me anyway.
