minifootxxx Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 well i found it pretty easy to get up to the lvl 702 (took 2 hours) but when i got there he 3 hit me :( i wasnt expecting to do it the first time but it was wierd coz i wasnt sure wat att he was using. he went up on 2 feet so i thought that was his magic att to i used magic pray and he hit me so i tried range and he hit me harder to ko me. it was the first 71 i have ever seen :shock: any hints? Ddrmaster7 Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 Ok. When the Jad appears, he'll use either mage or range: obviously, you know that. He will always hold his two front feet up first. If he holds them up for a while, it's his mage attack. If he holds them up for a lil bit then slams them on the ground, that's range. Jeebe Posted April 21, 2006 Share Posted April 21, 2006 I got 1hit by him before I could even see him... always use range prot first I guess :P he hit me 86 damage... noriad Posted April 22, 2006 Share Posted April 22, 2006 Just got killed by Jad...I got there on my 2nd attempt. It is not abolutely necessary to carry Guthan`s to get there. Blood blitz can be used for extra healing too. It is just 2 slots. Do remember to take off your ranger armor etc before shooting, because that will increase your hit chance. I`m 94 range, 72 prayer, lvl 90 magic, 96 hp. I carried 13 pray pot (4), holy wrench (not sure if that`s prudent), bloods&deaths, karils xbow with bolt racks, magic shortbow with bronze arrows (to save money; shooting expensive bolt racks at a lvl 180 that stands still against a corner is a bit of a waste. In retrospect I had better use more bolt racks instead and save the 2 spots for pray pots) and about a dozen tuna potato. I used up 1100 bolt racks, 1K bronze arrows, 500 deaths, 1000 bloods, and all my food and pray pots, but I arrived with almost full prayer and full hp at Jad.
