When you die, what do you lose?

I have been playing RuneScape 2.5 years before RS2 came out. It used to be that when you died, you'd lose all items and stackable items except your three most valueable non-stackable items. However, recently I've noticed that the system seems to have changed a bit. I was going treasure hunting when I ran into a pker. I used to be able to drop all of my items exept 3 and be able to keep all of them, but this time I lost my clue and only kept two items! Can anybody explain to me what's going on here?

Were you wearing something else at the time? Becasue you your supposed to keep your 3 most expensive items, not 2.

Were you wearing a "Ring of Life" ?

 

 

 

Also if the Pker can hit high damage that goes passed your remaning 10% of life you loose everything beyond level 20 Wildy (i think). You can only keep items if you use protect items prayer.

Depends... If a clue has no cash value, even leather boots, gloves or a basic cape would save over it.

 

 

 

I'd guess you had an extra worn item.

 

 

 

Also, stackable items DO count, if a single one is the next most expensive item as it counts back the 3, then you could save 1 or more - if you die with absolutely nothing except coins, you should save 3 coins.

 

 

 

If you had coins and a "zero value" item, you would still save 3 coins.
