How about a Runescape movie?

There have been tons of runescape movies, some guys from syboard or something starting a thing called runescape movie network and they all did movies about runescape and stuff. However they did not record it while being in game they just took sprites and environments from classic (doing rs2 would be impossible without recording... meaning that because of the low amount of possibilities the movie itself would suck)

 

 

 

anyways they used flash to assemble and animate all of the classic sprites (they even added horses and longer capes, more realistic fighting, as well as standing on walls and more detailed environment) and it turned out pretty good, even better than the game I would say :P

 

 

 

rsmn is dead now (I think) but you can still find some of their movies on some websites, one of the best ones was called "The Half Decade War" by Arion and was the god damned best runescape movie in the world (it was about a fight between f2p and p2p, you have to see it has incredible storlyine and everything) and there were some other good ones made by some dude called Fj Gamer.

 

 

 

If you wanna make one with a rs2 setting then yeah your gonna have to record it (unless you want to make copies of thousands of different positions and stances) and because runescape is limited in actions it would be more of a drama than anything :|. good luck anyways

trust me the first time I saw that movie I was shocked the storlyline owns everyone, its also good inspiration if your planning to make your own movie :wink:

That trailer was awesome! Horses in RS, more dramatic combat, and all the RS Classic goodness! :)

 

 

 

What's I'd really like to see in a movie would be a fight scene with two characters duking it out in the Wilderness or the dueling arena, but with wuxia-style fights.
