They are extremely good experience for a cannon and if you wear good armor and bring lots of lobbies you'll last a long time. I've never had a cannon... yeah, its usually pretty crowded and a lot of cannons and people are there, but i've heard the rock crabs give really good xp for cannoning. Retired from runescape.
