April 26, 200620 yr Moto Restaurant is a modern cuisine restaurant where head chef Homaro Cantu puts alot of science into his creations, such as "donut soup" - liquid that tastes just like the inside of a Krispy Kreme donut, or "carbonated grapefruit". His cooking appliances consist of pipettes, liquid nitrogen, and lasers. Another invention of his is the edible menu - the ink is made from organics, are is compatible with his every-day printer :P Some of the projects his other chefs are working on is for example, a scoop of ice cream that is cooked at low temperatures so it shatters into powder when eaten. There isn't too much information to offer other than the website, which isn't too informative. There's a really neat article in "Fast Company" magazine. I dunno, my mom subscribes to it, and I just saw the article on the table. A quick google search revealed some interesting articles though :)
April 26, 200620 yr That menu is awesome. It sure beats the pasta straws I use to have at the Macaroni Grill. :P
April 26, 200620 yr its kinda cool i guess. but it seems like more of a novelty then a resturant, like something youd go to at disney or sumting.
April 26, 200620 yr Very interesting. Looks a bit too expensive for my tastes though  ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
April 26, 200620 yr Author Very interesting. Looks a bit too expensive for my tastes though  I'm actually surprised by the prices, I was expecting something alot more expensive. Maybe restaurant food is generally more expensive in Canada or something.
April 26, 200620 yr Wow that's really awesome. :P Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.
April 26, 200620 yr Very interesting. Looks a bit too expensive for my tastes though  Don't worry about Weezcake, he's a PCS (poor college student). :P Actually, 5 courses for $65 isn't bad at all. 13 bucks a person isn't bad for a date or something...to go with your friends is kinda expensive but doable. I'm surprised he puts that much technology and still charges that low. I thought for sure it'd be a lot more. Anyway, that's kinda cool! :) I'm currently transitioning from a Wizard to a Mage and a Priest to an Archpriest. Lol both are nonexistant in the top 25. Hopefully I can change that. :D
