f2p woodcut problem

Featured Replies

well i been reading all these post about autos cuteing yews on f2p well i came to the conclusion simmilar the the pure essecnce idea

i posted this on one of the tops in general i think

brances and sticks- f2p same woodcut exp and firemakeing exp(cant make bows)

logs- members only same woodcut exp higher firemakeing exp can make bows maybe a diffent type of ax to cut or something

this is very possible if they add a new ax or a new right click to pick if u want brances :)

the brances would b worth very little sence only good for firemakeing and who realy firemakes anyways  (hmm i am what 99?) and members use logs to flech

This would ruin one of f2p's best moneymaking options, which many other people than autoers use too. Rune essence is/was no good moneymaker, even Jagex said that on some update. Not many regular players mined essence for money, just the autoers that could do it 24/7.

But yews, as I said, is one of the few good ways to earn money on f2p, and your suggestion would ruin it totally for other people than autoers.

So I'll vote negative.

The scum-bots have already ruined it. I rarely see a real player cutting yews. In fact, every yew tree has at least 5 scum-bots on it. They're like a plague of locusts!

I cut on my powernoob at edgeville in f2p, lots of living souls there, and no autoers.

the way i see it , f2p is a demo of the game of runescape when u play a demo do u realy expect to get anywhere on my phone tetris demo and i get like 30 of them peacies then it ask me to pay it is fun to play even tho it dont go far but if i wanted to play the real game i would pay $5 strange it same as runescape lol. but my point is u dont need much money on a demo if u want 2 make money then get the game. f2p is 2 get your basic skills up b4 u enter the big members server i guess...correct me if i am wrong

Or you can see it as a place where skills take more effort to level up, and the willingness to go through the tedious efforts is commendable.

I am a tree.

You are wrong. F2P is NOT the demo. Look back at 2001, was there P2P then? No, there wasn't. F2P'ers making money is alot harder then making P2P'er money, and that would also wipe out alot of resources. I mean, come on, look at all the legit F2P woodcutters!

 i played back then b4 p2p and f2p is a demo of the real game if it was the game they would update it  comon if u realy think u get anything forfree in the world  if u want 2 make money get members in my opinion f2p is only good for 2 things pking and geting yoru basic skills up and an basic skill is firemakeing hence the only good use of yews on f2p

I have to disagree. Woodcutting can be very profitable, I would know.

I myself cut yews, and there are fully alive people there, which brings me to this humorous little anecdote... :D

Once I was woodcutting and there was this person who was trying to get people to come along with her to see "Darklight's special"

It was scary because she was extremely serious about it. I changed worlds through fits of laughter.

Now I'm done.

no one ever sed woodcut was not godo money i saying who cares if f2p makes money or not get members for $$$ f2p for basic skills

F2p was the general game, P2p was a beta to see if people would pay if JaGeX added in small incentives every now and again.

Now about the autoers, it is ashame but it wasn't always like this in rs2 on the f2p servers. What has happen? rs2 when first released was an upgrade of rsc, in which rsc was autoer haven.

Now, rs2 is becoming the exact same thing. People just want be satisfied until JaGeX gets completely fed up with it and shut down f2p for good or rs2 period (I hope not, and doubt).

Now that you mentioned your 'old skool', I'm going to completely ignore your flawed arguement and agree with you.
