New pixel - C/C please - Watch my progress =)

Ok, so I've started this sig, originally for Nobbla, as he asked for the other one (First (kinda) Pixel - C/C) but I gave it to Bloodredsword instead, So I'm making this one for him to make up.

 

 

 

It's basically going to be the inside of a bar, with a few people sat down, playing cards, drinking beer and stuff...

 

 

 

So as I say, it's in the early stages, if you spot any mistakes, please say, or if you have any constructive criticism please give it to me. :D

Yes, I know about the PHat shading error,it was originally on the archer, but I switched it and forgot to change. It's correct in #5.

The environement is very very good. The textures are nice.

 

 

 

I think the back wall looks a tad empty, and the characters' faces are quite strange to me.

hmm very good but make the drag baxe BIG baxes are supposed to be huge and i woud hang a whip on the wall and put a tree or somthin behind the window but regardless, i would like it =)

Nice progrees node so far, now fix that phat in the table and add the glass effect in the window. :P

Here's the request:

 

 

 

just so you get the idea:

 

2 characters, one with short brown hair, one with long turqoise hair.they are both sitting in a dimly lit tavern playing go fish , with gold + items ( you choose) in the middle.

 

 

 

brown hair guy: cigar in mouth, normal black top and legs, as if he wasnt wearing anything in-game, purple phat, whip rolled up and fastened to his belt, mage boots. has a grin on his face leaning back with his hands behind his head, wearing fury.

 

 

 

turqoise hair guy:he has dchain and legs, fury, long turqoise hair with a blue phat on top, mage boots, fury ammy. he is pushing the rest of his gold and items into the pot (middle) with a grin on his face also.he has a pint of beer sitting next to him...

 

 

 

other stuff: i want them to be at a windowside table, with some people trading hand in hand. (outside you can see through the window (just) )

 

 

 

writing: i want 'nobbla' in the corner of the purple phat dude (me) and cutk2 in the other corner.

Knives, the wall will have more in it.

 

 

 

The window will have to people (Hopefully) Stood next to each other trading.

 

 

 

And I'll try to fix that Battle-axe then.

Hey, nice one! But the faces and hair of the people.. Errr... they look like pink lego people, sorry to say :lol: The bodies are fine though

Yep, faces have been changed... Just about to upload #4.

 

 

 

I've not followed the request too much because when I Started I didn't think Nobbla wanted it, so it's varied a little (or a lot :?) from the description.

 

 

 

Keep in mind I've not done too much shading or anything so far.

 

 

 

I prefer to get the basic colours down, and then do shading at the end, and finish it off with text. :)

Sorry for being a bit of a noob, but i forgot how to download fonts :roll: . I got it down into the comprezzed zipper, then extracted it, and now I've forgotten what to do *doh* please help gold :D

What do I do? I really have no idea how to make it look real... I'm not too keen on more wood panelling...

You have a fine start there, remember shading and texturing you did a great job on our project apply those skills here :)

 

 

 

For the back wall try a rough texture like old stucco some cracks in the wall maybe etc.

And yes, the Crystal bow is in the wrong hand, I reversed the image as to give it a more symmetrical look. (Despite it not being symmetrical at all... You know what I mean)
