Here's My Plan... Advice Appreciated

I'm going to return to Membership hopefully during May and go for about 3 months worth (Middle May, June, July, to Middle August). I've developed a plan whilst being F2P. Here it is.

In Chronological Order:

-Purchase Rune Hatchet and Get back Ring of Charos and Ectophial

-Steal from Farmers in Draynor for seeds (keep high levels only) until about 65 or 66.

-Cut down Magic Trees and burn them until 99 Firemaking (will be 80 by the Mid May)

-Craft 21k nature runes

-Craft Remaining Runes into Laws, Cosmics, Earths, and Waters.

-Use these Runes to complete Mage Training Arena and get Infinity Robes and the Bones to peaches spell.

-Start Fishing at Catherby/Fishing Guild to gather large number of Lobsters and Swordfish (Lobsters to sell, Swordfish to Use) At least until level 70 fishing.

-Now that I have food to use start doing slayer tasks to build up both combat and slayer for as long as I have food.

-(If I do not run out of membership by this time I move onto the other skills).

-Mine silver in the Crafting Guild to get enough for 57 Crafting (Green Vambraces)

-Begin to Fletch until level 60

-Steal from Knights of Ardounge until level 70

-Go to Agility Arena and stay until I reach 1k tickets.

During that time I'll plant a new set of crops for the day and then the next day I will check them and plant new ones if they succeed. Also every week I will go to Juna and do the mini-game (because hopefully I'll have done enough xp gathering to meet the requirements).

Here are my Current Stats:

Note: The woodcutting and Firemaking stats are subject to drastic change in short periods of time. The image may not be updated until it reaches an eventful level.

So that's my plan. I feel as if I'm missing something. I'm not going to extend my membership past three more months as near the end of August I'll be off to Norway and then on to my Freshman year of College. I'd probably still play on F2P and gather up some Coal, Iron, Basic Elemental Runes, cut some trees for later Fletching, etc. but it would take too much money to play RS for a member. I won't be doing any quests as I want to save those up for a nice long break, such as winter break of that next semester.

So can anyone think of a way to improve that also I plan to really make money off of stealing from Knights as well as from selling my Lobsters and that's it. Any other way besides Merchanting I could do that utilizing the skills I have?

Thanks for reading and answering.

it all sounds great in planning, but you might be overloading yourself. seeing 1k agility tickets and 99 firemaking in the same to-do list would make me cringe, but if you can do it, then you've got all my support.

Do the agility first. It will greatly speed up your other objectives while being the only p2p skill that translates into f2p (when you return). Other than that my only advice is don't get down on yourself if you don't achieve this because they are pretty lofty goals.

PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.

Don't do your agility training at the brimhaven arena, getting 1k tickets is NOT worth it. I've done it twice and recorded my xp during the second time, I averaged about 410xp per ticket (320 for 'selling' it and 90 for reaching the pilar) and since the arrow moves about once per minute you get only 5.4k xp per hour. Not to mention it takes 17 horrible hours to get 1k tickets.

With your agility level the monkey course is a good alternative, you'll hardly ever fail there and get 40-43k xp per hour. With energy pots I get easily 60k per hour.

Chopping magics for firemaking breaks my heart, not only because you could make so much money of it selling them or fletching them but also because it's very slow chopping. I think you're better of chopping yews, it's lower fm xp but they chop way faster.

Your other goals look good to me, personally I'd start with slayer and do nothing else during my three months membership, but that's just me :P

Thanks for the words of encouragement as well as the tips.

Are magics really that slow? I don't really care about money (I just need to break even with my purchasing and keep myself above 1 mil) and magics did seem like the best bet to do fast experience. I was thinking about doing it at the Elves place near Lletya. There's one or two magic trees there which would be good for firemaking. Any word on those kind of trees?

I would have thought maples or willows would be faster XP, as you can cut them down incredibly fast, the XP is worse, but they take less time than magic and yews, or so my friends have told me

Yeah... but they'd take way longer to burn (because there are a ton more logs to get the same exp).

Instead of crafting water/earth runes, buy a mud staff. When you're done with the arena sell it back.

Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.

Magics give 1.5 times as much fm xp as yews (300 vs 200 xp ea). This would mean you will need to burn 1.5 times more yews for the same amount of xp. So if you would chop 1.5 times more yews per hour then magics, magics would be faster because you spend less time burning. Therefor if you chop more then 1.5 times yews per hour then magics, lets say 2 times more, then yews is faster. All you have to do is time how many magics you can chop in 1 hour, then time how much yews you chop per hour and then calculate the difference.

Personally I can't stand chopping magics because it is so slow, so I can't give you an estimate on how much you'll get per hour. The magics near Lleyta (I think there are 3 there) are not as crowded as the place south of Seers or at the mage training area, but there's usually a couple of people there.

Henk, you've raised a good point. That's quite some interesting facts and I will toy with it before I commit myself to a certain type of tree. Thanks :)

I was thinking about doing that but I'm afraid of losing on the selling of it. Besides, Earth and Water runes are good for experience (plus IF I can make enough money by selling Lobsters I will be able to cover costs of purchasing Regular Essence and not having to mine it myself).

Maybe put the 99 firemaking at the end of ur list coz then u can use all the time left, if u do it first maybe u cant do some of the other things

99 Firemaking would be my first 99 Skill. 99 Firemaking is a skill that very few have, most cast it off. I want to join that elite society of Firemakers. Plus I'd never have to train it ever again thus giving me more time to do things overall. :)
