Jiaofunn
i have a question for all you p2p ppl im a f2p and i soon will be considering signing up for membership but when i take a look at the map of rs full it seems way too big and complicated so my question is did you ever find your membership and its additional features too complicated and hard to keep track of? tefda
It's fairly daunting in the beginning. A few people here actually researched the P2P world before gingerly stepping into the pool we call Membership. I on the other hand jumped in head first and did the first quest I saw (Druidic ritual) and tried to do as much stuff as I could. I think the size and scope of P2P at first brings you back to being a newbie in the world and it's a great feeling to be experiencing something new and yet familiar. For the first month you'll be confused, asking where Catherby is and how do you get across White Wolf Mountain, but overtime you'll get the hang of it. Risen_The
It was very confusing at the first week.. but you'll be able to keep track soon enough. Just like when you started playing rs, you had no idea, but now you know where to go in F2P. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=525348 - My Pking Gallery I'M BACK FOR SUMMER BABY
Alduron
It is large and it is very fun. You will have tons to do. It might be good if you have a friend that is already a member that could show you around. A lot of the areas require completion of quests to get into so its a good idea to raise what stats you can on f2p. One of the first quests that I would recomment completing is tears of guthix (and whatever is required to start it of course ;)). That quest will allow you to get free exp on your lowest skill once a week (every 100 k exp or 1 quest point) so it will help you raise lvls on your new found skills. I have managed to get 40 runecrafting and 40 farming due to tears (helps a lot because I do not like farming, lol) Well Good Luck to ya and Happy Gaming :) ~Alduron
dogfever
When I started (2 months ago now) I found it all a bit confusing. I also jumped straight into the first quest I saw (Witch's House, all of five yards from the Taverly gate - still ahven't finished it, too much faff). Mostly I spent a while wandering round, looking lost and worrying a bit about dying. The hardest thing is keeping focussed on any one goal. I managed quite well with fletching but after that I ran around from one skill to another without much idea of what I was doing. I have found slayer to be a good way of doing things for several reasons: 1. It trains combat skills. 2. The drops help you with other skills (farming, herblore etc.) 3. It forces you to find new parts of the p2p map and do new quests e.g. death plateau (to kill Trolls) or The Golem (for fast access to desert lizards). If your combat is high enough I can thoroughly reccomend Gnome Tree Village and Gnome Stronghold quests for easy transport around p2p. The most important thing however is to spend some time just wandering about (bring a tele if you're worried about dying) looking at new stuff. Then get down to the business of training. df
jekyll101
When I started F2P, I thought the map was huge, and I was always getting lost and confused, but I soon got the hang of it. When I started members, it was the same...
Jiaofunn
wow sounds like it is pretty complicated but really worth it thanks for all the help
meol
Something that is really worth it is the mage level for either Camelot Teleport or Ardougne Teleport. When I started members, I liked farming, and it was awful that the quickest way to the patch in Ardy was teleing to Falador, and walking from there. This signature is intentionally left blank.
