I use Compost on Potato, Onion, Cabbage and Tomato and Super Compost on the rest whether I am getting the farmer to look after the crops or not. Super Compost will increase your harvest but not enormously. Use potato as an example, using Compost, you will get between 6-20 from one patch. Using Super Compost, you will get between 7-25.
