Should I?

I'm going for 2k logs.

It's going to get my level upto 69 and I'll have 500k if I sell them.

I'm doing this because I need exp and money.

duh.

lolz.

But is 62 a good level to do this?

Yeah, go for it. I've been chopping Yew logs ever since I hit level 60 and it's been prosperous for me, and I'm F2P as well. You'll level up faster than you think. Pretty soon my goal will be to reach level 90 Woodcutting by the end of the summer.

Why are you reading this small text? Anyway, a could place for yews is Lumbridge forest. There is about 3 autoers there, but there is 4 trees. Chop, bank at Draynor.

I suggest against cutting any yews currently until the auto situation is solved.

Why? Just because Jagex might ruin the economy for a while with yew logs? Anywho I think you should be able to do fine with 62.

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

Go for it.

But look for a place without autoers, or just one or two. It is possible, I found one a couple of days ago. The lvls come really fast on yews, make the most of your wc lvl.

never cut yews until u have like lvl 70, train on willows until then, its way too slow on yews

Well, that's another thing. I would agree with you when speaking in terms of training, but for money-making I would go with Yew logs all the way (even at 60-65).
